Blue & Gold Athletics Circle Recipients Named for 2024

Marist School has named 10 alumni to be inducted into its Blue & Gold Athletics Circle, established in 2003 to honor those who have made outstanding contributions to Marist School Athletics. Additionally, two individuals will receive the Blue & Gold Athletics Service Award.
The selection process takes into consideration personal excellence in athletics, academics, and service to Marist School and the community. Recipients will be recognized prior to the Homecoming football game on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Athletic Director Derek Waugh ’89 commented on the new inductees and service award winners, saying, “This class features athletes who went on to star at some of the top institutions in the country like Georgia Tech, Cornell, Dartmouth, UGA, Boston College, and Notre Dame.  Jim Foley has been instrumental in his volunteer contributions to the girls basketball program and Tommy Marshall gave 25 years of his life to serving Marist.  I hope everyone can come celebrate with this group on October 4.”
